60 years have gone by since we graduated from high school
so you can bet we don't look the same as we did back in the 60's...

Some of us have more pounds, or less hair, and some...
actually look better than they did at USC.

This page will remind everyone of what we looked like back then and the way we look now, as well as update us on what we are doing in this stage of our lives.

Marital status: Married
Children: 2
Comment:

After graduating from Pitt in 1969, I did graduate work in Special Education and helped to start the first public school program for autistic children in Pennsylvania.  I married, lived in Boston, divorced, lived in San Francisco, returned to Pittsburgh and did a second graduate program at Pitt's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.  I married again, worked in government and non-profits, raised two kids who have grown into people I like very much. Traveled lots -- Latin America, Asia, Europe -- still working and traveling when I can.  I love reading this website...I have a very clear and lovely memory of Tim Oltrogge teaching me how to play tic tac toe in second grade, and of almost every girl's hair over a span of 13 years.  Looking forward to August and I'm glad to see that Paula finally got it together to get her photo on here after she made me go first !

Jeff Bryant

Marital status: Married
Children: 3
Occupation: Environmental Engineer
Comment: Graduated Boston Univ. '69 Aerospace Eng. before taking job in Fla. There I met my wife who brought 2 beautiful girls into the marriage. Returned to New England again in '71 for an MS in Environmental Engineering. Our son Matt was born in '73. Worked in Boston until '91 then back to Fla (this time Tampa). In '98 transferred to Houston to work in the energy business and to my current residence (Katy, TX). All 3 kids live in Tampa (and 2 grand kids!) so we earn a lot of frequent flyer miles between Tampa and Houston.

Comment: 2015 Entry:

What fun !  This is the first time I have seen the website.  I graduated from the University of Miami in Coral Gables Fla and spent 14 years as a social worker and auditor for the food stamp program.  I then decided to become an attorney and went to law school, moved to Naples Fla and started my own law practice which has been an adventure to say the least.  I am currently married to my second husband Hugo who is originally from Bolivia and have three beautiful children and two grandchildren.  I have had a great life and love to dance tango, ballroom, salsa, etc. every chance I get as well as cook and travel. I would love to hear from all of you.  My name is now Diane Gonzales Chance

Margaret (Margie) Collins (Morris)

Children: 3
Comment: It's taken me almost 41 years to get this information to the website! I graduated from WVU in December of 1968 and got married 3 weeks later. My husband was also a WVU graduate and was working as a commercial pilot. He worked as a commuter pilot in WV and then as a corporate pilot in Amarillo Texas. We then returned to Morgantown and WVU where he earned his MBA and law degree and I got a master's in special education. Our 3 children are grown but 2 are still in school-both at WVU, of course! We live on a 65 acre farm with dogs, cats (all rescue or pound animals) and two horses. We are lucky to have all our kids and one granddaughter close by. I keep busy with friends, family, church work and taking care of animals!

John D'Alessandro

( That has got to drive Brosnahan out of his mind ) I married one of our classmates Linda Rice right after high school, have one son, two granddaughters and two very young great grandkids. I truly have lived a blessed life. I am looking forward to seeing all of you.

2015 Update:  Fifty years?  It’s hard to understand how the years slip away.  For me they have been good.  Bill and I are still planted in Port Townsend WA, with family and beautiful inland water close by.  Molly, Border Collie No. 4, keeps us exercised, scheduled and laughing.  Wish I could be beamed into the festivities for a couple hours, but until that process is a little more secure, I enjoy your postings here.  Thank you Cheryl, for keeping our class in touch.

The coffee continues to be good here, should any of you explore our corner of the map.

2015 Update:

Really enjoyable to read about everyone's doings. Thanks, again, to Cheryl.

Since the last reunion - Retired from the energy business; We have been blessed with two grandkids; Regarding my aforementioned bicycling affliction, completed a coast to coast trip, as well as, the SkylineDrive/BlueRidgeParkway; Continuing to wonder about what I am going to do when I grow up.

2025 Update:

No biggie changes from above, other than, I have additionally found myself immersed in a few extra hobbies.  Let's talk / how about sending me a message and telling me all about what you've been doing for fun?

Karen Gerenyi (Englert)

Marital status: Married
Children: 2
Occupation: Accountant
Comment: After high school, I earned my college degree in Accounting, which was the career I had chosen for my 9th grade Civics paper! After working in Public Accounting for a couple years then moving onto banking, I got married and dropped out of the workforce for 20 years to raise two lovely daughters. Once our daughters went off to college I went back to work in banking and then to my current position in Medicine Research Administration at the University of Pittsburgh. Both our daughters were married in the year 2000 and now live in northern Virginia. We visit back and forth often and my husband and I are growing into our new roles as Grandma and Grandpa. Our first granddaughter recently celebrated her first birthday and now we are anxiously anticipating the birth of her little brother in the middle of August. I'm sorry to miss the reunion but send my greetings to all.
