Carole Zervos
2012-06-20Carole Zervos Dardamanis passed on in Columbus, OH June 20, 2012. Carole was the love of my life. She was my life partner and soul mate. Our coming together was the work of Providence, and a love affair. We shared everything in common-our love of people, our desire to bless others, our love of travel, our love of art, our love of learning, our desire to bring healing. I miss her so. As a high school teacher Carole was brilliant with school children who came from every part of the globe. She influenced their lives for good. She had a master's degree in education from Tufts University, a credential that found full expression in her life. She was active in her church, and in the women's prison ministry. She knew she could bring healing and regeneration. Her love of family and friends was, and is, a true expression of Love and Principle. Her life was the fulfillment of goodness and beauty. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. Those whose lives she touched will miss her. I miss her. I will always love her. Carole is survived by her loving husband, Fotios; by her loving brother, Michael Zervos and his wife, Laura; their children-nieces, Sarah and Chloe, and nephew, Nicholas; by her step-mother, Kalliope Zervos; sister-in-law, Martha Stivaktas, all of Pittsburgh; by her mother-in-law, Mary Dardamanis of Baltimore, MD; sister-in-law, Nanda Edgerton, her husband, Jeff, and son, Robert of Westminster, SC; and by first cousins, Joanna and Anna Zervos of Pittsburgh, Denise Christou of Indianapolis, Michael Paros of Manassas, VA, Donald Paros of Alexandria, VA, Sally Holmes of Richmond, VA, Teeny Spicher of South Fork, PA, and Judy Abbruscato of Blairsville, PA. We will always love her. Contributions in Carole's name may be made to Third Church of Christ, Scientist, Columbus, OH, 3989 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43214-3337.
