Occupation: art teacher
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 4 From Helen: When I graduated from IUP in 1969, Upper St Clair had four art teacher openings. I've been at Streams ever since with stints at Johnston, Baker, Boyce, and Eisenhower. Teaching here has been a thrill, and I have a few years years to go to make up for those four maternity leaves. I married Joe Rishel, A Duquesne University History professor, in 1977. Our children range in age from 27 to 23: Jonathan, Emily, Marjorie, and Elizabeth. The younger two are now searching for teaching jobs in the arts: Marjorie with certificaion in Elementary and Art and a studio arts degree, and Elizabeth in Music. I'm looking forward to PNC Night and a chance to roll back a "few" years. |

Occupation: Homemaker
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Linda (Lindy): It has been a long time! Bill and I married after graduation from Cornell University and moved to Perth, Western Australia for a year. Great time and lovely people, tho about 25 years behind the U.S. at the time as far as modern conveniences go. Jobwise, I've been a high school Spanish teacher (thank you Betty Scalise for that inspiration!), social worker in Virginia, received my MA from U of VA and did some substitute teaching. Son Tyler graduated from U of Colorado and now resides in Denver. Daughter Laurel graduated from Northwestern U., spent 2 1/2 yr. in the Peace Corps in Uzbekistan (we did visit!) and is now at Harvard Divinity. Bill and I are on our 9th house and have moved about 15 times - from Virginia to California. I presently have the freedom to do volunteer work, primarily with my church and the local Christian Woman's Club group. Always manage to stay busy. North Carolina's climate is a great compromise for enjoying 4 seasons, with no serious winter. Enjoy the reunion and greetings to all, Lindy |
