SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS...Dave Barzler, Nancy McClintock, Biv Schnure and Jack Pfunder

42 years have gone by since we graduated from highschool

so you can bet we don't look the same as we did back in the 60's...

Some of us have more pounds, or less hair, and some...
actually look better than they did at USC.

This page will remind everyone of what we looked like back then and the way we look now,
as well as update us on what we are doing in this stage of our lives.

"Click"
on  ADD YOUR INFO below and enter your correct information and your "now" photo. ( You can e-mail us your "now" photo and we will upload it for you, if you like )

We will enter your "then" (senior) photo after you submit your information. Should appear on the website within one to two days. (Please make sure your info and comments are correct...once submitted, can only be changed through us)  Any questions please contact: usc65reunion@comcast.net

Hopefully this page will allow you to re-connect with former classmates...

Well, after 38 years of marriage, what else is there to say? I am really looking forward to this weekend. Dave and I have lived in the Akron/Canton area for about 34 of those years. We had 2 wonderful children who gave us beautiful memories: Jayme left us with a 9 yr. old grandaughter, Nacey, a terrific son-in-law and an amazing step-grand-daughter now in college; David never had the opportunity. I enjoy working at Summit Racing Equipment (sorry, no discounts), as it is an amazing place to hang out. Dave and I will miss a few of you who are unable to attend. I apologize for the really, really late posting. However, I have hired an organizer to assist with the never-ending hunt for ? See you soon!

Well, let's see. Graduated with youinz in June '65 and entered Beast Barracks at West Point in July '65. Made it through (didn't think so, did ya?) and went to Germany, Vietnam, Georgia (3 times), Texas and ended up in Virginia as an Infantry Officer. Somewhere in there I got my Masters in Environmental Engineering and worked for the Corps of Engineers until 1985. My first insane decision: Left the Army. Went to IBM to manage a water and wastewater program, then Environmental Remedial Construction contracting. In grad school at Johns Hopkins they said you need to be a Water and Wastewater Superintendent. So, my second insane decision: I went to the City of Manassas as their Supe in August of 2000. But, what they don't teach you in Grad School is that you have to love supervising a weird mix of people and laying on discipline almost daily. (Don Stoicovy??) I didn't love it so I quit last December and I'm back to just Environmental Engineering with SCS Engineers in Winchester, VA. Along that journey I married, have two beautiful daughters, a great son-in-law, an 8-yr old grandson and a 4 yr-old granddaughter (living in Pgh). My oldest, Nicole, is 37 and my youngest, Jamie, just graduated from UNC Charlotte. I am also very close to and proud of my sister, Linda's (USC '66) two boys, Brad and Brian (of Cleveland) who, like their Unca Jim, are Eagle Scouts, and who, like their Unca Jim, are in the Army. At least the reserves. But Brian has been to Bosnia and is in Iraq as we speak. ("Say a little prayer for him") Also along the way I separated, divorced and I'm starting all over again: wedding is June 10th! My passion: I guess to live quietly in the woods of the Shenandoah Valley with my dog and my honey, and help others out wherever and whenever I can.

My life since graduation has been several 'books'. In the interest of space ~ here is the short of it. Went to Point Park for 1 year. Got a job. Got several jobs. Got married. Got a job. Got several jobs. Got divorced. Got a job. Got several jobs. Worked at a few more jobs for 10 more years. Moved out west with my 'significant other' and lived in AZ, UT and ended up in ID. (Oh-got married again in AZ) Had my son in AZ and my daughter in ID 18 months later. Had a horse ranch in ID for 10years. Separated. Got a job. Got several jobs, moved to town, went to Idaho State Univ., got divorced again, got my LPN and moved back to the Burgh. Got tired of HMOs and went to Carlow to learn computers and now I work at Pitt in the Epidemiology Data Center using my nursing background in research. Whew, and that was just the 'short' of it! Seems that it's been a 'long, strange trip' for many of us! See you all in August ~

Bev (USC 67) and I left Pennsylvania about 30 years ago and headed for Denver where we found a place to live in Aurora, Colorado and stayed there for about 25 years. We have two children. Shane is currently in his second year of medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Kari graduated from Drake University two years ago an is living in Aurora, Colorado. Bev and I moved to Elizabeth, Colorado about 6 years ago so we could have horses in our back yard. We have our own home inspection business, scuba dive, and take the horses to the mountains in the summer months to ride and camp. Look forward to seeing everyone.

After USC, I rather begrudgingly attended the U. S. Merchant Marine Academy. For me this was a torturous but useful journey .....a creative battle for my very soul ! Graduating with an engineering degree, I hopped on a motorcyle, resigined my commisioned officer status, became a conscientious objector, and met wonderful lifelong mentors (civil rights "freedom riders", etc.). I continue to be a peace and community activist. Lots of wild and wonderful adventures. Fifteen years in Vermont, seven in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and now 13 nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mts. of Asheville, NC. Great partner in marriage #2 with Audrey and 8 vivacious grandchildren! Twelver years ago, I had the incredible blessing of reuniting with my birthdaughter Molly, conceived in USC days ! Amazingly and preciously, we have attended the birth of Molly's three children! For the past 25 years I have enjoyed practicing Chinese Medicine. It will be exciting and intriguing to spin wheels with all you kooky friends of long ago !!

After trying to be a nurse for 18 years, I ended up with my first love - paper.  I've worked for the last 18 years for personal injury lawyers, doing a variety of medically related things and sort of overseeing the computer system.  I have a great husband and two grown sons who turned out fine.  I love movies, playing scrabble, and computer stuff.  Once in a while I read a book, but I'm pretty illiterate. I consider myself a very fortunate person.
